A New Chapter for Lina Louise Books

There is something strangely vulnerable about reshaping a website.

A book can hide behind its characters. A website cannot. It has to say, clearly and without apology, who you are, what you create and why any of it matters.

For a long time, Lina Louise Books grew in much the same way as my stories do. One idea became another. One character refused to leave. A single world widened until dragons were flying through it, horses were thundering across another, and my dining table had somehow disappeared beneath manuscripts, cover proofs, packing materials and far too many cups of coffee.

The website needed to catch up.

So, this is the home of Lina Louise Books.

It is a place for stories filled with fierce women, impossible choices, wounded hearts, ancient magic and love that rarely arrives quietly. It is also a place for open fields, horses, families carrying old hurts and people finding the courage to begin again.

My books cross genres, but the heart beneath them stays much the same.

I write about resilience, loyalty, grief and belonging. About people who stand back up after life has given them every reason not to. I write about love in all its difficult forms. The kind that heals. The kind that destroys. The kind that changes the shape of an entire world.

Where the stories have taken me

The Legends Saga began more than fifteen years ago with Arawen, Theran and a world that simply would not leave my imagination.

Since then, it has grown into something much larger than I first dreamed, filled with ancient dragons, forgotten histories, dangerous magic and characters who have become painfully real to me.

The Blossom Hill Saga lives closer to the ground. Its world is shaped by horses, rural life, family, loss and second chances. There may be no dragons in those fields, but the battles can be every bit as fierce.

Then came Where Shadow Holds the Flame, the first book in The Emberbound Saga.

Calira and Vale arrived with fire, shadow, forbidden bonds and enough tension to keep me awake long after I should have stopped writing. Their story opened another door, and I have no intention of closing it yet.

There are other worlds taking shape too. Some are already being written. Others are still pacing at the edge of my imagination, waiting for the right moment to step forward.

Apparently, my brain does not believe in having one sensible project at a time.

More than writing the book

Being an independent author means writing is only part of the work.

There are covers to create, manuscripts to format, proofs to check, websites to build, orders to pack, posts to plan, reviews to treasure and roughly four hundred tiny decisions hiding behind every finished book.

It can be chaotic. It can be exhausting.

It is also mine.

Every part of Lina Louise Books has been built with care. Not perfectly, because nothing created by a real person ever is, but honestly.

Each book carries a piece of me from the first uncertain sentence to the moment I finally hold the finished copy in my hands.

Lately, the world behind the books has been growing too. Lina Louise Books is becoming stronger and more organised, giving me more space to return to the thing at the centre of it all.

Write.

That matters more than I can properly explain.

What comes next

This website is not a finished monument.

It is a doorway.

There will be updates from behind the scenes, glimpses into current projects, character introductions, book news, cover reveals and probably the occasional account of something going spectacularly wrong during publishing.

There will also be honest posts about writing, independent publishing, imagination and what it takes to keep creating when the sensible voice in your head suggests that you should perhaps stop inventing kingdoms and go to bed.

I am unlikely to listen to that voice.

To everyone who has bought a book, left a review, shared a post, recommended one of my stories or simply stayed to see what I create next, thank you.

You have helped turn something that once lived only inside my head into a growing library of worlds.

Welcome to Lina Louise Books.

Some stories begin with a whisper.

Others arrive breathing fire.
